Our Mission
We are the BudgetVault Team — a group of developers and privacy enthusiasts who got frustrated watching budget apps treat user data as a product to monetize.
Most personal finance apps require you to hand over your bank credentials, sync your transactions to their servers, and accept targeted advertising in exchange for "free" use. We built BudgetVault because we refused to accept that trade-off.
BudgetVault stores everything in your browser using IndexedDB — no accounts, no cloud sync, no data collection. Your financial life is your own.
What We Stand For
Privacy First
Your financial data is stored entirely on your device. We have no servers that receive or process your budget data. Zero.
Always Free
No premium tier, no subscription, no "pro" plan. Every feature is available to every user, forever.
No Lock-in
Export your data as CSV anytime. You are never dependent on us — your data is always yours to take.
Transparency
We are honest about how the service works. We use Google AdSense (ads), Google Analytics (traffic), and Vercel Analytics (performance) — all disclosed in our Privacy Policy. Your financial data never touches any of these.
